Brisa Hennessy lives quite a nomadic and extraordinary, adventurous life. Her journey first began when her parents moved to Costa Rica. She was born there and lived off the grid until she was 9 years old. Surrounded by only jungle, the ocean, and no electricity, this is where she found her love for surfing and her zest for life. She then moved to Hawaii, where she discovered her passion to compete and where her surfing career started to take flight. In 2018 she accomplished her dream and qualified for the World Surf League Championship Tour. One of her other passions is cooking, learning about nutrition, and how to properly fuel her body as an athlete and the people she loves. Today she currently resides part-time in Fiji, full-time traveling place to place, competing, and cooking around the globe.

Hennessy is currently ranked #4 on the World Surf League Championship Tour, is a 2x ISA World Gold Medalist, a Pan American Games Gold Medalist, and represented Costa Rica for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
