Running her first 5K at just 5 years old, Winter Vinecki is an athletic prodigy. As a child, she competed in Olympic distance triathlons and became an Ironkids National Champion and ambassador. In 2011, she received the Annika Inspiration Award. She also set the world record for the youngest person to run a marathon on every continent.
At age 12, Vinecki moved to Park City, Utah to pursue aerial skiing. She first earned her spot on the US Ski Team in 2016 and continues to play a vital role in their success. In 2021, she secured a gold medal at the Moscow Cup. She is also the first “Winter” to compete at the Winter Olympics after her appearance in Beijing.
Vinecki is more than just an athlete— she’s a philanthropist, published author, magna cum laude graduate of the University of Utah, and a skilled public speaker. After losing her father to prostate cancer at age 9, Vinecki founded Team Winter, a nonprofit that has raised over $500K towards prostate cancer research. She inspires thousands through her speeches at schools, conferences, and events across the country. In 2022, she published her memoir, Winter’s Rise.
